Earlier this month, I had the absolute pleasure of shooting the wedding of my good friend (and another sorority sister!) Christie & her husband, Tom. They had originally planned for a large wedding at her father’s house, but plans were changed to an intimate family gathering instead. It was one of the most relaxed events I have ever shot, and I truly felt just like one of the guests (who happened to bring a really sweet camera.) It was a really windy day, but the skies were amazingly blue and filled with big puffy clouds (the pictures will prove how awesome it actually was…) Before the ceremony, Christie was upstairs getting ready while Tom waited patiently in the basement, so as not to catch a glance of his bride. Once it was time to begin, the guests gathered by the pool and watched Christie’s father escort her down the steps to Tom. Christie’s stepfather performed the beautiful ceremony, and after they were married the entire bridal party processed down the dock to a boat and we all got on for a spin around the lake to toast to the newlyweds (I must admit, I was PUMPED when they asked me to join them on the boat!) The rest of the evening was filled with great food and fantastic people. Thank you so much for letting me “crash” your party and have a blast in Jamaica 🙂 Look below for my favorites & their slideshow!
