Judith & Eddie: 6.25.11

I first met with Judith & Eddie a few months ago at a Starbucks here in Pensacola in the midst of their wedding planning.  Their June wedding was planned for Pensacola, with Judith & Eddie organizing from Mississippi & Cocoa Beach, respectively.  About 2 months ago, I received an email from Judith explaining that plans had changed…. and would I mind traveling to Hattiesburg, Mississippi for the wedding?  Of course, I said yes!  Mississippi marks the fifth state in which I have shot a wedding!  I made my way west on the day of their wedding, and with weather reports sending us mixed messages, Judith & Eddie made the executive decision to have a “first look” and take care of the majority of their photos prior to their ceremony.  Man, was it hot!  When it was finally time for their ceremony, the clouds created a perfect shade and the temperature had cooled a few degrees allowing the guests to enjoy their beautiful union 🙂  Both the wedding ceremony & reception took place at Liberty Town Hall, an absolute dream location for a photographer!  Here are my favorites & their slideshow!

  1. Kate – you did an absolutely amazing job capturing all the details of our wedding day. Thank you so much for making the trip, enduring the heat, and going non-stop until it was over! I don’t know how you did it but I’m so grateful you somehow managed to be everywhere at once to “get the shot”. We have received so many lovely compliments about our wedding photos and I know I will treasure these pictures for years to come – thank you, thank you, thank you!
