Father’s Day

The older I get, the more I realize how much of a sentimental person I am. It’s taken almost 29 years to draw this conclusion, but the signs were there all along.  Like when I sorted through the family photo albums and picked “my” favorites, leaving our albums in disarray (blame nostalgia.)  As I acknowledge full blown adulthood (approaching 30 will do that to you…) & settle into a career I adore, I can truly appreciate the hours and hours my father spent behind a lens documenting our family’s life. We have still shots & video footage from every Christmas, sporting event, birthday and moving day, and while we like to kid around and joke about his cheesy narration, (“As you can see, it’s snowing!”) every minute of tape is appreciated. Dad, thank you for everything.  You have given me the gift of tangible memories that no one else could provide and a million thank yous will never be enough. I love you Daddy! And in honor of my pops and all the fathers I’ve worked with over the years, I’ve put together a little blog showcasing some of my favorite “Dad Moments”.
