I met Nikki over a DECADE ago when I was a senior in high school + looking at colleges – she was my overnight “host” for my recruiting trip with the Albright College swim team and I thought she was the coolest. After returning home, I knew didn’t need to look at any other colleges, I was sold. Nikki did her job! But WAIT! It gets even better! Once classes started and I declared a double major in Fashion Merchandising and Business Administration, I had almost all of my fashion classes with Nikki + all of my business classes with DJ! They were my classroom buddies, always sharing notes and sitting next to me, not to mention we were all great friends outside of class too! Little did I know, over 10 years later, here we are in 2013 and they are finally getting married! It’s not often that I know my clients prior to shooting their wedding, let alone since the very beginning of their relationship + I couldn’t be happier to have been a part of this celebration. Nikki is in the design industry and I knew that she was going to put together an amazing event, and that she did, complete with lots of DIY details. On October 4, a beautiful fall Friday in Doylestown, PA, these two made it official + I am so happy to have been there to share in all of this happiness. Enjoy!!
At their ceremony, Nikki had a basket of vintage handkerchiefs available for guests’ “happy tears.” So sweet!
There were so many sweet DIY details at their reception. For over 50 years, Nikki’s grandfather collected the vintage bottles that were used in the centerpieces + the guests were able to take them home as favors!!
