Two weeks ago, I drove all the way up to Montgomery, Alabama for Margaret + Cole’s engagement session. Earlier this year, when we were discussing potential locations for their session, Margaret threw out Montgomery as an option because Cole was living in an amazing neighborhood up there and I was totally on board! Driving off of the highway, I really didn’t know what to expect. There wasn’t much going on, just beautiful rolling hills. And then we turned into “The Waters.” This little gem of a neighborhood was TOO cool. There were so many epic locations for photos that COLE and his mom had scoped out. I’m super impressed!! And a bittersweet note, the night of our session was Cole’s last night living in the neighborhood before moving down to Fairhope with Margaret. I’m so happy they will have these sweet memories to remember his time there. I’m so looking forward to finishing my wedding season with their December wedding, but in the meantime, enjoy these sweet images from their engagement session!
I love the reflection of the trees on the water! Every angle was so gorgeous!!
Margaret suggested the photo below on the right. We got about 2.2 seconds of serious face before they cracked up. I love it!!
This spot had the most AMAZING light coming through the moss-lined trees. A southern dream!
