Kelly + Layne are pretty much the sweetest clients a girl could ask for. We met in January at the wedding expo and and again in March for their engagement session and every time we were together, I could just feel how excited they were for their upcoming wedding. Over the course of our pre-wedding meetings, I sat with Kelly + her parents and discussed the details of the wedding Kelly had always dreamed of and all the special plans they had… And finally, September 27th arrived! Jeff + I drove out to Brewton, Alabama to spend the day celebrating Kelly + Layne with their families and all of their sweet guests. What an amazing day filled with lots of love! To Kelly + Layne, I wish you all the happiness life can bring – thank you for letting us be a part of your wedding!
Kelly has such a sweet relationship with her niece, Hatlee. They’re so cute together!
Isn’t Kelly’s bouquet gorgeous? So much love was put into all of their floral details because Layne’s father was their florist! How cool is that?!
Meanwhile, Jeff was with the guys as they got ready for the day…
Kelly + Layne chose to see one another for photos prior to their ceremony, which you know I always love. We scheduled a private moment for them to see each other for the first time inside the church where they would marry just a few hours later. It was such a sweet moment to witness!
I usually wrap up my photo time with the bride + groom portraits, but this time, we started with them! It was so nice having the extra time for photos and I just love how sweet these two are in front of the camera!
Seriously, how cute are they?!
A few ceremony details…
Off to their reception at The Hourglass with a police escort! I’m not going to lie, we followed behind and felt like the cool kids!
This was definitely one of my favorite father-daughter dances of all time. Kelly’s father came to all of our meetings and was so involved! We talked about this moment quite a few times so I might have taken a LOT of pictures! I’m sure they don’t mind!
There were so many cute kids at this wedding! They filled the dance floor!
Such a fun exit! (I didn’t even notice the handcuffs until looking at the pictures! I love it!)
But we weren’t done yet! Since there was still daylight, we went across the street to the park for a few final portraits before sending these two off on their honeymoon! I can’t say enough how much we enjoyed our time with them!
