I have to admit, when Katherine first contacted me about shooting her City Hall wedding on March 20, I had to think twice. My own wedding was just 8 short days after… But I like to live life in the fast lane, so we decided to go for it, and I couldn’t be happier with our decision. Both Katherine and Spencer were amazing to work with and I enjoyed my day with them so much, it’s honestly hard to call it work. We had a little time before all of the families showed up and we were able to go all over City Hall for portraits. This was my first time shooting here (and certainly, not my last!) and I was blown away! What an incredible building! Not to mention the atmosphere is just awesome – brides and grooms everywhere, families with huge smiles, all awaiting their turn. The day was made extra special due to the fact that Jeff and I had taken our engagement photos here just the day before with our photographer, Mallory, so I received a crash course in all the best locations! What serendipity! But this day was all about Katherine + Spencer. From Katherine’s gorgeous Badgley Mischka gown, to their stunning rings handmade by Katherine’s sister, the details were impeccably classy and effortlessly stylish. The best kind of wedding. So without further adieu, enjoy their photos!
Katherine’s rings were GORGEOUS!
Church Street Flowers did an incredible job on Katherine’s bouquet! How dreamy!
Time for their sweet ceremony… many happy tears were shed!
Officially married! We joined the family on the steps for a mini celebration before sending the group to St. Helena for a weekend of celebrating…
Katherine + Spencer were awesome and agreed to my suggestion of stopping at Crissy Field for one last round of photos prior to heading off to Wine Country. I’m so glad they obliged, because these are AWESOME! Congratulations again to the newlyweds!!
I just had to. It’s too good.
