When Mallory + Ian suggested starting their engagement session in and around their home, I think I may have squealed out loud. I have wanted to shoot an “at home” lifestyle/engagement session for YEARS and I’m so happy that they were into it! Not only does this type of session offer an intimate glance into the private moments of a relationship, Ian is a chef, so being in the kitchen is second nature to him. We were inside the comfort zone, if you will, so any nervous energy was immediately squashed and we got down to business! I just adore the way these two interact with each other and their love for one another practically bursts out of every image! Afterwards, we took a few portraits in their backyard before a glamorous outfit change to round out their session with some stunning formal portraits at Bayview Park in Pensacola. This session had everything, and if it’s any indication of what their October wedding will bring, I can’t WAIT! Mal + Ian – thanks for the wine, cheese and good times – we can’t wait to share in your big day!!
The scooter was a last minute suggestion and I LOVE IT!!!
