Their first meeting in motorcycle training class was only the beginning of this long road of adventure for Sarah + Chris. They speak with smiles as they reminisce on long rides to LA on their bikes that led to sore backs and days resting up on the couch together. But together, it seems, is their favorite place to be. The twinkle that appears in their eyes when the other is around simply can’t be missed. And so finally, on a foggy San Francisco day, as friends and family lovingly gathered to celebrate, these two finally made it official. Their ceremony was held at Sarah’s childhood church and elementary school, bringing the past and present together in the sweetest way possible. From there, we chased the sun down the peninsula to the Hillsborough Racquet Club, where the party kicked into high gear for the evening. It was truly a wedding for the books, a perfect day, if I do say. But as those of us who attended this wonderful wedding know, the road ahead is filled with even more adventure for these two. Sarah and Chris, thank you, thank you, thank you for allowing us to witness and document your lives and love. Enjoy!
A favorite from the day… Sarah + Chris’ rings atop a letter written from Chris to Sarah, on their wedding day. “He’s always written me sweet notes, ever since the beginning of our relationship,” says Sarah.
Much of Sarah’s jewelry, including her wedding band and earrings, were family heirlooms, passed down from generations, yet all still incredibly classic and “in-style.” Good taste runs in the family…
Check out Sarah’s shoes! I’ve never seen anything like them and just love how they showcase her fun personality!
It’s always extra special when a bride gets ready in her childhood bedroom!
Love this family!
Sarah’s “Grandma Gen” served as her Matron of Honor. And then we all melted from the cuteness.
GAH! Sarah’s gorgeous bridals leave me speechless!
Meanwhile, Jeff met up with Chris and the guys in Burlingame as they prepared for the day, before heading back to San Francisco for the ceremony at St. Gabriel’s.
And then we were off to the Hillsborough Racket Club!
The food stations were IN-CREDIBLE! I’m hungry just looking at these!
In lieu of cutting the cake, Sarah + Chris opted to cut a wheel of brie!
