I had a funny feeling the night I answered a phone call from my brother-in-law, Jordan. I knew something was up. And sure enough, he let us in on the plan of his proposal to his girlfriend, Liese. You see, Jeff, Jordan, Liese + I had already planned to spend a few days camping in Moab, Utah together, so it was perfect! (And seriously, is there a more incredible, picturesque place to propose?!) We set the plan in motion, with a few little details to be worked out as the time approached. We arrived at our campsite in Moab, set up for the evening, and were immediately met with a HUGE thunderstorm that lasted through the night. We awoke the next morning (completely dry, I should mention, thanks to our awesome tents!) to blue skies with fluffy white clouds, and we were all ecstatic for what the day would bring. Lucky for me, as a photographer, I was able to hide my excitement for the upcoming proposal behind my desire to take hundreds of photos of each and every majestic location. At every spot we stopped, we snapped a few photos, sometimes I would take a few photos of Liese + Jordan, of course, setting the scene for later. And finally, at sunset, we made our way to “Delicate Arch,” the most famous of all the Arches. THIS was the place! And so, as we placed Jordan + Liese for their photo, Jordan reached into his pocket and….. I’ll let you see for yourselves!! What an incredible honor to document this happy time in my family’s life! CONGRATULATIONS to Liese + Jordan, we love you guys and can’t WAIT for the wedding!!
We found Arches! (And Jordan being Jordan!)
