From the moment we made plans for this shoot, I’ve been excited to share this sweet story with you! The Bruni Family recently sold their first family home and wanted to document some of their happiest memories with an “at home” photo shoot before the big move. This house has gotten busier and busier over the years as their family has grown to 5 members, with some of life’s most special moments happening right between these walls. Just through the doorway of the house, you’ll see the spot where, years ago, Antonio proposed to Bree. Around the corner and into the hallway, you’ll find the room where baby Blackstone made his debut, much to the surprise of his parents and the paramedics. This is the home where all 3 kids came home from the hospital and where this family grew until it was perfect. This home is a sanctuary for love and family and you feel it when you walk inside. I loved my afternoon spent capturing a normal, busy day with the Brunis, beginning with a little cookie prep in the kitchen and capped off with Dad’s return from work and a stampede of smiles and laughter. This family lights up a room and I’m lucky to have them light up the blog today. Enjoy!
This may seem like an odd place for a photo shoot, but it’s the EXACT spot where Blackstone was born! So of course we had to have some special mommy + me photos here 🙂
A picture of motherhood… Slightly blurry, yet precious moments…
Then it was time for some backyard fun! These guys are better drivers than most adults, and it was absolutely hilarious watching them zip all over the yard!
Baby Merida was there, too. Just as cute as can be 🙂
Now…. Tractors!
A little time in the playroom…
Some purposely distracting Nerd Ropes while we waited…
Dad’s Home! This is how they greet Antonio EVERY DAY! How cute is this?!
A huge, special thanks to Kiley Manning for all of your behind the scenes magic!
