Life as a romantic can be tough. There are a lot of hopes and expectations and a good bit of patience, but when all is said and done, there’s nothing quite like it’s sweet reward. After a chance encounter during a night out, in which Brittney gave Richard her phone number and the specific instruction to “Call me in 3 days,” Richard rang her the next day and the rest was history. Life brought both of their paths to San Francisco, and then to one another, so there was no better backdrop to celebrate their love story than this beautiful city. Paired with Brittney’s exquisite, timeless style, the day could not have been more gorgeous and every detail was perfection. Brittney + Richard, thank you for being two of the most incredible people ever. Your love is magical and magnetic, creating an orbit around you from which, thankfully, no one can escape. The positive energy, love and joy shared on your wedding day will last a lifetime. Thank you for letting Jeff and I document your first day as husband and wife!
Meanwhile, Jeff met Richard and his guys at Aquatic Park for a unique start to the day, and a nod to Richard’s Irish roots and family tradition of jumping into the sea!
Back to the Mark Hopkins to get ready…
An all-time favorite…
We crossed the fog line into the Presidio for their reception at The Observation Post, but luckily the Golden Gate Bridge still made an appearance!
During the reception, Richard and his family surprised Brittney with a performance that brought us all to tears.
A nod to New Orleans, where Richard proposed after beignets at Cafe du Monde!
