Their story began in high school. They were good friends, but Eric and Bianca were just that: friends. It wasn’t until after college and a fateful re-connection that these two friends really fell in love. By that time, Eric’s career in the Coast Guard had taken him to the Great Lakes, seemingly worlds away from Bianca and Tampa. But soon, that distance would seem small in comparison with what was to come. For his next assignment, Eric was deployed to Bahrain for a year. A year out of the country, away from home, away from family, and a year apart from Bianca. And it was during that year that Eric found himself fortunate enough to schedule a trip back home to Tampa with plans to propose. As they walked along the downtown riverfront, back in the comfort and familiarity of their hometown, and, most importantly, back together again, Eric promised Bianca forever. Sometimes I have to pinch myself when I think of all of the incredible people I have met because of my work, and Bianca and Eric are high at the top of that list. We connected last year at Catherine + Casey’s gorgeous Tahoe wedding and immediately fell in love with both them and their story. Jeff and I are BEYOND thrilled to celebrate this next joyous chapter of their life at their Tampa wedding this May, but first, please enjoy some of my favorites (okay, a lot of my favorites) from their downtown Tampa and Ybor City engagement session!
More than obsessed with the Columbia Restaurant and it’s GORGEOUS exterior! Dream location!
Did you know that roosters and chickens roam the streets of Ybor? Now you do! I just had to get a shot of one of these guys 🙂
We wrapped the session on the rooftop of a parking garage (of all places!) with breathtaking views of downtown Tampa, perfect “glow-y” light from the Florida sunset and one incredibly stunning couple. Seriously! Look at them!
