Our instructions were clear: Kelly and Andy wanted an “urban San Francisco engagement session” around some of the city’s coolest locations… AND a stop at a brewery would also be HIGHLY embraced. As it was Pride Weekend here in the city, we mapped out our plan of execution and got to work on this epic photo tour of San Francisco. We started things off with the iconic view from high atop Potrero Hill before making our way to the fun and fantastic murals of Clarion Alley, where a parade was marching by that very moment on Valencia Street. The vibe in the city was good that day – even with the celebratory nature of the weekend, the photo bombers were minimal and onlookers even graciously lent their skateboard to Andy for a rad photo opp. I’d consider that a win for a city shoot! From there we made a quick stop at Southern Pacific Brewing Co. to recharge via a couple of brews and then we were off to the Financial District, where we quite literally dodged traffic to get some sweet street shots with the cable car lines and the notoriously changing gradient of California Street. As the fog rolled in and nestled itself into the skyline, we wrapped things up with a few more photos out on Pier 7, finishing our session with some of my favorite shots of the day and the promise to hang out again soon, since we just had so much damn fun together. And of course and always, thanks to our amazing chauffeur, Jeff, without whom this crazy tour of our awesome city would not have been possible. 😉 Enjoy!
