You can tell that Jordan’s hometown means a lot to her, just in the way she speaks about it. And now that I’ve been to charming Granville, Ohio, I can totally see why! I flew in a day early for Jordan and Greg’s wedding so we could spend a lovely, warm, summer evening strolling the streets for their engagement session. From the historical bed and breakfasts, to the darling cafes and restaurants lining the main drag, there were endless options for photos and Jordan and Greg came ready to pose! They were so instantly natural in front of the camera, and we breezed through this first part of our session. After a stop for a quick pint at a local brewery (this is becoming a fun trend!) we headed to her parents gorgeous property on the outskirts of town. Jordan explained that her parents recently purchased this land as an opportunity to grow a legacy for their family… and for something to lure their children back for visits once they all leave the nest – which is brilliant parenting, if you ask me! The barn, just recently built, smelled of fresh lumber and a promise of fun times in the future – the glistening pond, where Jordan + Greg literally installed the diving platform the week before – the fields of wheat and wildflowers – I could have shot here all day! Knowing how much this town, and specifically, how much this property means to Jordan + Greg, makes these photos all the more priceless, and I am beyond happy that we made this happen! Next up – their gorgeous wedding day! Stay tuned!
